In this tutorial, you will create a simple assessment. To accomplish this, you will create a new assessment, assign a single test, and run your assessment to produce a report.
You will follow these steps to complete this tutorial:
From the Vulnerability Assessment panel click on the Assessment Builder or Define what database you want assessed. This will open up the Security Assessment Builder panel.

From the Security Assessment Builder panel click on the New button which will open up a panel that allows you to define an assessment.
Enter a description you would like for this assessment to have.
Select a Period From that this assessment is to should start its search from using the calendar tools provided.
Select an To that this assessment should end its search at using the calendar tools provided.
Add a Datasource by clicking on the Datasource button. This will bring up the Datasource Finder where you can highlight a datasource and then the Add button.

Click on the Apply button to save the named assessment.
From the Security Assessment Builder panel click on the Configure Tests... button which will open up the Assessment Test Selections panel. This panel is divided into two pieces. The upper half displays the tests that have been selected for this assessment test and the lower half allows you to select from the available tests that you would like to add.
Choose the tab that corresponds to the type of datasource you added to the assessment you just created in Step 2.
Scroll through the available test for your datasource and highlight the ones you would like added to this assessment.
Click on the Add Selections button.
Click on the Done button.
From the Security Assessment Builder panel click on the Run Once Now button. This will schedule one execution of this assessment for immediate processing. A pop-up window to this regard should be displayed, click on the Yes button. You should also get confirmation that the assessment was successfully queued for execution, click on the OK button.
From the Security Assessment Builder panel click on the View Results button. This will open another window that contains the assessment report
