Arms Focus

General focus on the arms.

Technique Focus Points

  • Extension. Reach full extension out front.
  • Catch. Perform the early vertical forearm catch.
  • Pull. Keep the elbow near the surface.
  • Release. End the stroke as the hand passes the belly.
  • Recovery. Direct the weight of the arm directly forward.
