Track Workout - Threshold 400s - Barry Field Version

Objective: Train up your lactate threshold.

Barry Field 400: One lap around the Barry Field is only about 300 yards, so to run a 400, start at the end closest to the gate, run one time around plus all of the way down the field again. Walk back to the start as part of your recovery interval.

Warm Up

Perform a standard warm-up.

Main Set

at least 2 min, but not more than 4

Example: If your 400 sprint time is 80 seconds, run at about 90 seconds and rest 3 minutes.
