See the Recommendations below the video player.

Priority
Recommendation
1
Arms - deep. You extend your arms at the surface, and then get your arms very deep in the water for the catch and pull. See the Setup page, and try to learn to spear your hand into the water at an angle so that at full extension you are in the setup position. Then see the Catch & Pull page, and note how early in the stroke cycle the swimmer gets her hand and forearm vertical in the water. Practice any of the catch and pull drills on the Video Clips - Arms page.
2

Breathing. You are getting your leading arm deep in the water when breathing. Try to leave it extended out front in the setup position. Have a look at the first video on the Video Clips - Breathing page (from SwimTherapy). It is long but very well done. Also, learn to breathe on both sides. It appears you are only breathing on one side, and that tends to exaggerate any imbalance in your stroke.
